Bugalabs ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of personal information:
- During registration: Name, email address, password
- Automatically collected when using the service: IP address, browser type, device information, date and time of access, cookies
- For payments: Payment method details (e.g., credit card, bank account), billing address (collected by third-party processors, if applicable)
Note: The actual items collected may vary depending on the nature of the service.
2. Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate our services
- To manage membership and verify identity
- To respond to inquiries and handle customer support
- To provide marketing and promotional information (with user consent)
- To improve the service and analyze usage statistics
- To fulfill legal obligations
3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
In principle, we will promptly delete personal information once the purpose of collection and use has been fulfilled. However, certain data may be retained in accordance with relevant laws:
- Records related to contracts and withdrawals: 5 years
- Records related to payments and supply of goods: 5 years
- Records related to customer complaints and dispute resolution: 3 years
4. Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties
We do not share your personal information with third parties unless:
- You have given prior consent
- It is required by applicable law or legal process
- It is necessary to provide our services through trusted third-party partners (as described in Section 4-1 and Section 5)
4-1. Mobile Application Data Safety
This section specifically addresses data practices for our mobile applications, in compliance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements. The following information describes the types of user data our apps collect, transmit off device, and share with third parties.
Data practices vary by app. Not every app collects every category below.
- MoneyMoney and AI Playground are ad-supported and process an advertising identifier, as described below.
- VocaSnap displays no advertising. It does not collect or transmit an advertising identifier, and it is not integrated with any advertising network or mediation partner.
A. Data Collected and Transmitted Off Device
Our apps collect the following data and transmit it off users' devices to our servers and/or third-party service providers:

C. Data Not Collected
Our apps do not collect the following types of data:
- Precise or approximate location data (GPS or network-based)
- Contacts, phone number, or call logs
- Photos, videos, or audio files
- Financial or payment information (e.g., credit card, bank account)
- Health and fitness data
- SMS or messaging content
D. Data Encryption and Security
All data transmitted from our apps to our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security). Account passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing algorithms and are never stored in plain text.
E. User Control and Data Deletion
Users can request deletion of their account and associated data at any time through:

Upon receiving a deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (see Section 3).
F. Children's Privacy
Our apps are intended to be downloaded, installed, and operated by an adult. Accounts must be held by a person aged 13 or older, and we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from a child.
VocaSnap is designed for a parent or guardian to use together with their child. The account belongs to the adult. VocaSnap serves no advertising, collects no advertising identifier, and does not build advertising or behavioral profiles. Photos taken in the app are used to label an object and create the flashcard; they are not used to train advertising models.
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 other than through a parent or guardian, we will delete it promptly. Contact privacy@bugalabs.com and we will act on it.
5. Outsourcing of Personal Data Processing
To provide stable services, we may entrust personal data processing to trusted third-party service providers:
